In Dave Ramsey's book, Total Money Makeover, he writes about how when people decide that they no longer want to be in debt, they have to get a little creative, go a little crazy and start selling shit. Well, he doesn't write, "sell shit", that's just my interpretation on it.
So that's what I did! My awesome, dear friend Lu was kind enough to let me bring my scavenged goods to sell at her yard sale. Vera Bradley Bags, gone! Plus-sized winter clothing, gone! Odds & ends accumulated from undergraduate adventures, gone! I set a modest goal for earnings and made that plus some, so the day was a success for me.
I am very tired, and my feet hurt but I'm okay with that! Tomorrow's plans include rest, knitting, and watchin' racin'!

Big doin's here in Roseville today...huge Nascar race..K&N Pro Series, SRL Southwest Tour Series and Legends of the Pacific. Scooter and I are hoping to go next weekend! I grew up at the racetrack, but haven't been in many years, so I'm excited!!!
Good job with the yard sale..we need to do the same since we merged two households 3 1/2 years ago..double everything! Ughhh
