I returned to community concert band last night. I enjoyed it much more than I thought I would. I got to see my dear friend L and catch up on her adventures.
We're also playing First Suite in E flat by Holst which is one of my favorite pieces and I've never played it before. I've heard it plenty o' times but never played it.
The worst part is that I'm playing 3rd part and I can't read notes that go below the staff. Back in the day, I was used to playing notes that go above the staff..so that will take some adjustment.
