I've come to the conclusion...

that people truly suck. That when it comes down to taking responsibility for their own shitty actions, they will look the other way or try to pawn their trash on others.

I got into a fender bender this evening. Bitch punched a hole in my bumper with her trailer hitch on her big ass Denali b/c she was backing up, not paying attention, and is apparently deaf to the honking of a car horn. Then she had the nerve..NERVE..to get a nasty attitude with me and tell me that the hole had been in my bumper and I was "trying to pin it on her". To make matters worse, I had three "bystanders" yelling at me and saying it was my fault and being aggressive nuisances.

Kinda scary, really shitty. Thank God for my cousin, Stephie, who just happened to be headed into the store when it happened. Oh yes, it happened in a parking lot.

I've realized two things this evening:
1) Racism is alive and well in South Carolina. Hey, I had family fighting on both sides of the Civil War but No, my family didn't own any of your ancestors. I don't owe anyone anything except the common decency and respect that I would expect of myself. If you screwed up, own it. Don't get "your sistas" to lie for you and make up shit to tell a police officer. AND when I ask you to please not lean on my car or stand so close to me, don't get an attitude...just give me the space I'd afford you if you asked for it.
2) Birth control should be put in the water. And you should have to go see a doctor if you want to get pregnant.

The damage to my car can be fixed; the bigger "owie" that I'm nursing right now is the reality that people are shitty and when given the opportunity, they will put their shit on you. Given the opportunity, not everyone will do the right thing.

And that, my friends, just makes me sad.

Did I mention that I am taking care of Leslie's cat? He's badass but his name was Mr Suzuki or something... so I changed it to Jaq Bower. It is much more fitting ;)

On the other side of things, your accident coudl ahve been worse. Tonight on the way home, I stopped to help some people who were in a REALLY bad accident. Car flipped I pulled one guy out and I couldn't get he driver out. Nobody was wearing their seatbelt. It wasn't good. I will take a shit fender bender with an ignorant biggot anyday...
